❄ Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 Kohima (Nagaland)

  Meet & greet on arrival at Dimapur Airport and transfer to Kohima (75 kms / 3 hrs drive). Reach Kohima and check in hotel. Later proceed for local market, if time permits visit State Museum (CLOSED ON SUNDAY). O/n Kohima.

• Day : 2 Kohima (Nagaland)

  After breakfast proceed for Kohima War memorial, Museum, and later drive to Khonoma village (20km). Khonoma village has been declared as the first “Green village in India because of the initiative taken by the village to stop hunting, logging and forest fire. The village has taken an odd step by declaring 27 sq kms of its territory as Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sacntuary (KNCTS). At Khonoma you will find Culture, History and Nature intact together. As we go through the village we will see ceremonial gates, morung, cairn circles, forts, historical sites, age group house, meet local craftsmen weaving shawls and cane basket. Back to Kohima. O/n Kohima.

• Day : 3 Kohima – Imphal (Manipur)

  Today after early breakfast proceed for Imphal (150 kms / 05 hrs drive), check into hotel and later explore the Ima Market and Kangla Fort (if Time permits) and also visit the WW2 memorial. O/n Imphal.

• Day : 4 Imphal (Manipur)

  Today after breakfast proceed for Moirang to explore the Loktak Lake and Kaibul Lamjao National Park (famous for the rare dancing dear, Sanghai). Also explore the Japanese War Memorial, INA museum, Red Hill – a memorial of Japanese Army later drive back to Imphal. O/n Imphal.

• Day : 5 Imphal – Silchar (Assam)

  Today after breakfast proceed for Silchar (270 kms / 09 hrs drive). Reach Silchar; check into the hotel. (Silchar would be a night halt as driving from Imphal to Aizwal is very long and hectic.) O/n Silchar.

• Day : 6 Silchar – Aizawl (Mizoram)

  Today after breakfast proceed for Aizwal (180 kms / 06 hrs drive), reach Aizwal and check into hotel, later visit the Aizwal city view point and Bara bazaar of Aizwal. O/n Aizwal.

• Day : 7 Aizawl (Mizoram)

  Today after breakfast visit State Museum, Mizo Modal village and later drive to visit the Vantwang falls. Enroute visit a typical Mizo tribal village. Evening free at leisure. O/n Aizawl.

• Day : 8 Aizawl – Silchar (Assam)

  After breakfast proceed for Silchar, today visit a typical Rengma Naga village in the middle of Silchar town, evening at leisure. O/n Silchar.

• Day : 9 Silchar – Agartala (Tripura)

  Today morning after breakfast proceed for Agartala, capital of Tripura (290 km / 09 hrs drive). Reach Agartala and check in hotel. O/n Agartala.

• Day : 10 Agartala – Udaipur – Agartala (Tripura)

  Today after breakfast proceed for Udaipur (50 kms / 02 hrs drive), enroute visit Sipahijala Wildlife Sanctuary. Also visit Matabari temple, Kali temple bordering Bangladesh. Later proceed to Mela Ghar to visit Neer Mahal. Drive back to Agartala. O/n Agartala.

• Day : 11 Final Departure

  Today morning after breakfast proceed for Agartala Airport for your onward destination. The tour ends here with the sweet memories of Hazel Tours.
