❄ Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Guwahati – Kaziranga (ASSAM)

    Meet and greet on arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport - Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Kaziranga National Park (235 kms/7 hrs approx.) Check into hotel. O/n Kaziranga.

  • Day : 2 Kaziranga National Park

    Today enjoy Kaziranga National Park on a Jeep OR Elephant ride (complimentary). Later visit Orchid Garden. Evening free to explore local surroundings. O/n Kaziranga.O/n Kaziranga.

  • Day : 3 Kaziranga – Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)

    After breakfast proceed to Shillong (325 kms/7 hrs approx). En route enjoy outer view of Umiam Lake. Check into the hotel. Later visit Don Bosco Museum and explore famous Police Bazaar by walk. O/n Shillong.

  • Day : 4 Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (MEGHALAYA)

    After breakfast proceed for Cherrapunjee (60 kms/2 hrs approx. one way). En route visit famous Elephant Falls. At Cherrapunjee visit – Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park and Nohkalikai Falls. Back to Shillong by evening. O/n Shillong.

    Note: Most of the waterfalls are dry during winter season.

  • Day : 5 Shillong – Tamabila (Bangladesh Border) – Dawki River – Mawllynnong – Living Root Bridge – Shillong

    After breakfast excursion to Mwallynnong (100kms/3 hrs approx). Back to Shillong by evening. O/n Shillong.

    Mawllynnong village, situated 90 kms ahead of Shillong on the Shillong-Dawki Road, 30 kms from Pynursla, is a village of 75 households with a population of 400. Dubbed the cleanest village in India by Discover India Magazine, the primary Village School till class V boasts of its no dropout record and the village of 90 % literacy. Paved walkways and beautiful flowerbed all along mark the village, with waterfalls, a living root bridge, hilly rivulets, acacia plantation and an excellent view of the faraway plains of Bangladesh all contribute to the ambience of this village. Farming of betel nut & leaves, broomsticks and pepper along with bee rearing are the primary economic activity of this Village and with the village headman himself taking the responsibility of making visitors comfortable, a day in this village gives an insight into the life of the Khasis, the influence of the Church and its metamorphosis

  • Day : 6 Shillong – Guwahati (MEGHALAYA - ASSAM)

    After breakfast proceed to Guwahati (130 km/4 hrs approx.) En route visit Don Bosco Museum in Shillong. Later visit Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. O/n Guwahati.

  • Day : 7 Final Departure

    Today morning drop at Guwahati airport/ Railway station for your onward journey. The tour ends here with the sweet memories of Hazel Tours.
