❄ Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Chandigarh – Fagu

    Meet and greet on arrival at Chandigarh airport/Railway station. Proceed for Fagu (5-6 hrs drive). Check into the hotel. O/n Fagu.

  • Day : 2 Fagu – Sangla

    After breakfast proceed for Sangla (6-7 hrs). Arrive Sangla & Check in to the hotel. O/n Sangla.

    Sangla : The name Sangla itself is engulfed in romantic lore. Sang is said to mean 'light' and la of course means 'pass' in the Tibetan language. In other words it is the 'pass of light'. Sangla village is surrounded with gigantic Kinner-Kailash peak (6,050m) towering over it.

  • Day : 3 Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla (25 kms one way)

    After breakfast proceed for Chitkul. The drive is one of the most fascinating, pine trees slowly giving way to ‘Bhojpatra’/Birch trees and then the tree line disappears and one reaches the meadowland.

    Nagasthi: is the last border outpost and short walk from Chitkul. Civilians are not allowed beyond this point. The walk is a level one and slightly going down the path through a pastureland and fields overlooking the freely flowing Baspa. A 1.5 hrs walk takes you to the outpost where the Jawans’ smiling faces greet you. Back to Sangla. O/n Sangla.

  • Day : 4 Sangla – Kalpa

    After breakfast proceed for Kalpa (2670 Mtrs - 49 Kms – 3/4 hrs). Kalpa is District Headquarter of Kinnaur. Enroute visit Buddhist Monastery in Kalpa & Check into the hotel. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden & Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79 foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. O/n Kalpa.

  • Day : 5 Kalpa – Kaza

    After breakfast proceed for Kaza (Approx. 200 km/ 6-7 hrs). Check into the hotel. O/n Kaza.

    The headquarters of Spiti sub-district, Kaza is situated on the bank of river Spiti.

  • Day : 6 Kaza

    Today visit Ki Monastery (13,500 ft), the largest monastery in Spiti Valley established in 11th century. It has ancient Buddhist scrolls and paintings and also houses the largest number of Buddhist monks and nuns. Later visit KIBBER (13800 ft – 11 km) beyond Ki Monastery, known for being the highest inhabited and motorable villages in the world). O/n Kaza.

  • Day : 7 Kaza

    After breakfast visit Dhankar Monastery, Kaza Monastery, Comic Village and local market. O/n Kaza.

  • Day : 8 Kaza – Kalpa

    After breakfast proceed for Kalpa (200 km/6-7 hrs). Enroute visit Tabo Monastery. Reach Kalpa and check into the hotel. O/n Kalpa.

  • Day : 9 Kalpa – Fagu

    After breakfast proceed for Fagu (210 km/8-9 hrs). Reach Fagu and check into the hotel. O/n Fagu.

  • Day : 10 Final Departure

    Today morning drop at Chandigarh airport/ Railway station (5-6 hrs) for your final departure. The tour ends here with the sweet memories of Hazel Tours.
